  27. Welcome to ShareSpell for Windows. ShareSpell is an ASCII text file spelling
  28. checker with features added to make it easy to check the spelling of text in
  29. clipboard.  It combines the award winning ShareSpell for DOS's spell checking
  30. engine with the ease of use of Windows.

  34.  o Check files up to 16 megabytes in size.

  41. INSTALLATION

  43. No fancy install program is needed.  Just make a directory for ShareSpell and
  44. copy the following files into it:

  46.  SSW.EXE
  47.  SSW32.EXE
  48.  SSW.HLP
  49.  US_LARGE.DCT
  50.  BRITISH.DCT
  51.  README.TXT
  52.  
  53. If you're installing the 32-bit version use the file SSW32.EXE instead of
  54. the file SSW.EXE.

  57. To make the icon for ShareSpell available:
  58.  
  59.   In Windows 3.1 and Windows for Workgroups:
  60.  
  61.   In the Program Manager open the window you want ShareSpell to show in.
  62.   Go to the File Menu and click New.
  63.   Make sure Program Item is selected in the windows that pops up and click OK.
  64.   Click on Browse and find the SSW.EXE file. Then click OK.
  65.   Now click Change Icon to see the icon for ShareSpell and click OK.
  66.   You can now run ShareSpell by clicking on its icon.

  69.   In Windows 95:

  71.    The icon for ShareSpell will be available in the directory where you
  72.    copied it.  You can run ShareSpell by double clicking on the icon.
  73.    If you want to make ShareSpell available from your Start Button on the
  74.    Task Bar click once on the ShareSpell icon and while holding down the
  75.    mouse button drag the icon to the Start Button and release it.

  81. REGISTRATION

  83.   If you use ShareSpell for more than the 30 day evaluation period you
  84.   should send $20 to Acropolis Software to register.  You will receive a
  85.   disk containing the latest version of both the program and the dictionary.
  86.   Please use the order form to register.
  87.   If you do not use the form, please specify that you are registering
  88.   ShareSpell for Windows and indicate your preferred dictionary: US or British.

  90.   Purchases of 10 or more copies will receive a site license package
  91.   which consists of two (2) master copies of the latest version and an
  92.   agreement that you can make the specified number of copies.  Site
  93.   license are charged $10 per copy they wish to make.
